Consent must be given in writing according to FOIPPA regulations, but the Electronic Transaction Act opens that interpretation up more broadly. Need to update this requirement to demonstrate what is required to get a documented record of consent. For example, a check box or clicking a button is acceptable as long as you can look at this record, or a user flow that is restricted based on the provision of consent. This would imply they have provided the consent
