Failed to load external module @babel/register

I started receiving this error, and this repo seems to be the most understandable one beside other ones.

[09:41:41] Requiring external module babel-register

I tested it in multiple environments, but keep receiving that error and couldn't find how to fix it. Any ideas?

gulp down to 3.9.0 fix it.
