Why do new packages not show up in conan search immediately?

The way the indexing happens there is going to be possible delay. There's a periodic scheduled process that runs and reads the access (i.e. registered) packages and creates the index entries for the conan search to work. That service currently runs on a 30 minute cycle. Hence the wait can be as long as 30 minutes before new packages appear in the search.
