Copy Billing and Shipping address with a checkbox

Currently we have to populate both shipping and billing address separately, can you allow for copy between the two with a checkbox or a button, while creating a customer/vendor?

I asked about this back in October and was told putting a copy to button like quickbooks was a good idea and would be implemented but it never happened. I also, haven't seen any activity on this project in over a month so I'm beginning to be concerned.
