Can't load images

The app suffers from the same bug the "official" poc suffers from

The most recent images load just fine and continue to load as I scroll slowly from present to past.
But
If I jump the navigation bar in the feed long down the app bust cant load the images.
Just black squares forever

i do have trouble loading images if i jump fast around the timeline, but it typically works if i scroll more slowly, or jump once and wait.

I host photoprism an a raspberry pi400 pretty low resource for intensive tasks. For me loading takes forever
