Loading Icon freezing/stuttering #132

Hi,

Whilst testing in Safari (mac) sometimes the loading icon isn't spinning correctly. It seems to stutter as if it's waiting on something to load perhaps? Rather than spin around smoothly.

What could be the cause of this? I am using an animated icon rather than the CSS transitions.
