[Request] Forge 1.20.1 Port

Just a quick request to have this mod ported over to 1.20.1 forge, as that seems to be the version most players use for forge in 1.20 atm (as well as for a lot of popular modpacks).

Seconded this, playing a lot of forge packs with EMI but it doesnt detect AE2 Inventory for the recipe tree.

It seems like the mod works fine using Sinytra Connector. Until I have time to do a proper port to forge, you could give that a try and see if things are still okay.

I wasn't able to get the mod to work with Sinytra Connector, with these specific mod versions:

• Connector-1.0.0-beta.42+1.20.1.jar
• emi-1.1.4+1.20.1+forge.jar
• emiffect-forge-1.1.2+mc1.20.1.jar
• emi_loot-0.6.5+1.20.1+forge.jar
• emitrades-forge-1.2.1+mc1.20.1.jar
• fabric-api-0.92.1+1.11.8+1.20.1.jar

I didn't get any errors, but it just didn't work (I still couldn't e.g. move a recipe from EMI to an AE2 crafting terminal)

Pulling items from the ME system to the crafting terminal is an experimental feature which is disabled by default iirc. Can you check if you have that option enabled or if dragging items to pattern terminals work, since that's a stable feature.

I've done some more testing, this time just using the base emi (emi-1.1.4+1.20.1+forge.jar) + this mod, and Connector and fabric-api as above.

These are my observations:

• I can't access any settings menu anywhere (maybe it doesn't work cross-platform?)
• If I have both JEI and EMI (and this mod) enabled, I can't load the game (specifically, I can get to the main menu, but can't load a game) as the game OOMs
• If I have just EMI (and this mod) and not JEI enabled, I can load the game, but EMI can't interact with any of my ae2 terminals (the wired and wireless versions of the crafting terminal + pattern encoding terminal) -- I can't shift click or drag things in, and the UI says that the workstation isn't supported:

Since connector is being spotty I'll work on a forge (xplat if possible) port of the mod once I am able to.

That includes checking and testing the 1.20.1 backport and likely bringing this mod to 1.19.X and previous versions once I get xplat going.

I can't do much programming as of now, but by the end of June I should be able to push something out.

I can no longer get the Sinytra Connector workaround to behave as expected (I have in the past though)
Clicking the (+) when viewing a recipe does work, but Craftables no longer show up unless I'm dragging an item (and the amount I'm dragging is less than the total amount)

Here I'm dragging Oak Planks out of the Terminal and Craftables (left) is showing all recipes, instead of what's possible in all inventories (including personal and hotbar):
