Project Description
This project aims to generate a reproducible asset generation pipeline from 3D models to traffic scenario simulations. Although 3D models do not contribute to simulation accuracy, they are often helpful for development purposes and demonstrations. Generated 3D assets will include vehicle, pedestrian, and environment object models.
The target scenario simulator will be Esmini (github.com/esmini/esmini), which uses OpenSceneGraph formats (
.osgb
) for visualization.Tools that will be used in this project:

)Importantly, this project considers open-source software and asset licensing very important as we want to distribute generated models within the open-source communities. All third-party models must be credited appropriately according to their licensing terms.
