Clipboard Timeout not clearing Username/Password

I am running keepass 2.6.8 on a Samsung S21+ which has Android14 and Samsung UI 6. The mobile has all the most recent updates and security. The application setting "Clipboard timeout" is set to 30 seconds. The Keepass icons for username and password are not cleared after 30 seconds. This applies for any of the clipboard timeouts. I have restarted the mobile and the problem remains. Using the username and/or password has no effect of the icons being cleared.
