I have an almost-always-console-only machine, but use Cage routinely to open one-off graphical applications (Firefox, gedit, foot, a few others). It works great for this in almost every respect, by the way.
The one way that it is not great is that frequently I can type, or find myself waiting for something else to happen on screen, and the letters I'm typing don't appear, or the action does not take place, until I move the mouse. At which point it happens all at once.
As in type in a url bar for a bit, nothing happens, jiggle the mouse and all the text appears. Finish typing and hit enter, nothing happens, jiggle the mouse a bit and it all pops up.
I don't see anything obvious in the logs showing me problems, but I can reproduce it arbitrarily.
This is on an MNT Reform, with the Nitrogen8MPlus SOM, a quad-core ARM Cortex-53 CPU.
