CakeExecuteScript failing with "An error occurred when executing task 'Default'. Error: One or more errors occurred. (No such file or directory)"

I have a simple proj with the following file structure:

Root =>
build.cake,
Innerscope => innerbuild.cake

Now from build.cake Im tryng to call innerbuild.cake via CakeExecuteScript but failing with no such file or directory. Using cake 1.3.0 on mac
What am I doing wrong?

I have not checked it - and thus I may be totally wrong here - but doesn't the CakeExecuteScript(sting) expect the full script to be the string? I think you are looking for CakeExecuteScript(FilePath).

"/Users/gandalf/.dotnet/tools/.store/cake.tool/1.3.0/cake.tool/1.3.0/tools/net5.0/any/Cake.dll" does look strange to me, esp. the /cake.tool/1.3.0/cake.tool/1.3.0/ - then again, I'm not on mac.

@augustoproiete you're on a mac, right? Are you in a position to test this?

My mistake. Having Cake tool installed globally, the path to the Cake.dll looks exactly the same.

Are you able to execute the commandline from the logs (/usr/local/bin/dotnet "/Users/gandalf/.dotnet/tools/.store/cake.tool/1.3.0/cake.tool/1.3.0/tools/net5.0/any/Cake.dll" "/Users/gandalf/Documents/Repos/TestCake/Innerscope/innerbuild.cake") manually?

Im going to remove all sdk and core stuff and re-install and report back tomorrow. I bet a random brew install has screwed my environment. Post to this the following helped and command ran successfully:

        return tool;
    }

            path=>new DirectoryPath(path).CombineWithFilePath(tool)
        ).FirstOrDefault(filePath=>System.IO.File.Exists(filePath.FullPath));
}

and then 

var cakeSettings = new CakeSettings 
    {
	    Arguments = new Dictionary<string, string> 
                {
                    { "configuration", "con" }
                },

        ToolPath = FindToolInPath(ctx, "dotnet-cake")
    };

provided that settings and it worked

Ok an update.

It seems I had a broken symlink for dotnet.
First had to delete /usr/local/bin/dotnet and then do ln -s /usr/local/share/dotnet/dotnet /usr/local/bin/

I thought re-installing dotnet sdk and runtime would do that but unfortunately not!
After symlink fix all happy and dilly dally now!
