[feature request] ability to focus off-screen selections

do you think it's possible to focus all selections instead of just the ones currently on screen?
I've been messing around and experimenting but I haven't been able to figure out how I might do it.
It'd be really nice for search and replace situations to be able to see selections that are far apart in a file.

I think this is related to mawww/kakoune#3644 as mentioned in the README, I haven't found a solution in the last few years so unfortunately I am not sure what to do about this.

It even happens without any other config turned on, like with kak -n -e 'source ~/dotfiles/kak/autoload/remote/kakoune-focus/focus.kak'. This makes the plugin less useful than it could be for me as well. If anyone has a solution, I'd be happy to consider.
