Now that livecd is always using the 'classic' branch (and knows to specify different targets for server or desktop images), there's no point keeping the 'desktop' branch around (which is also a trivial diff away from 'classic'). Assuming there's no commenters raise any objections, I'll kill the branch at the end of the week.

"End of the week", ha! Anyway, branch protection on "desktop" is now removed, but I'll wait for 22.04.1's release to actually delete it just in case there's any fallout from this...
