The compiled command line tool, mindcode.jar, has been included in the latest release. From now on this file will be included in all releases. Instructions on using the file are included in the readme. I hope that this will make adopting the command line compiler, and therefore Mindcode itself, easier for everyone. (Thanks to @tom-leys for bringing to my attention that setting up the Mindcode command line compiler the old way was quite a lot of work.)
The documentation for the command line tool is available here. It is capable of doing all three operations supported by the web application: compiling a Mindcode source, creating a schematic, or decompiling a schematic (in this last case the schematic decompiler uses the binary msch file as an input).
Please let me know if you run into any problems using Mindcode or the documentation, either by creating an issue, or by responding in this thread. Suggestions and comments are welcome too :)
I also have a question for you (just a note that I'm going to continue supporting both the web app and the command line tool, as I find both of them useful):
