Bug Report

Describe the bug

After creating my wallet in a brave macos browser with my nsec, I purchased a custom username, [email protected]. It was claimed successfully and I can view it under my npub address

I went back to the home page and went to claim a second wallet, [email protected]. The lightning transaction was successful, but the claim button didn't work and it does not show up under the address list of my wallet. When using the same browser, I can try to claim the exact same username, and I will be provided the same lnd invoice that I have already paid. If I try on a different browser or machine, it says that the username is already claimed.

My question is this: is npub.cash only designed to have one custom username? If so, can I migrate the second custom username to a new nsec wallet I create?

What information can I securely provide? I have the custom username and the lnd invoice number that I can provide for verification.

  1. Select claim username under Home
  2. pay lightning invoice from QR code that is generated
  3. Try to click the claim button
  4. Only appears to happen with a second custom address claim for the same nsec

Your environment

  • OS: macos sequoia

  • Browser name and version: Brave 1.73.104 for macos
