What would you like to see added to ROI Extractors?

Refactor ROIExtractors to improve code quality including

  • descriptive variable names
  • minimal magic behavior
  • not overriding built-in variable names such as dict

This issue probably should be tackled in a series of smaller PRs rather than in one go.

See #235 for some context.
