At the moment it is not possible for the host app to know if Cauli is enabled or disabled, because the corresponding property is private.
It would be useful to be able to access this property. My use case however is to let the user enable/disable Cauli and display the current status. There are open issues for this functionality. Maybe it is sufficient to add this instead of exposing the enabled property, but there may also be other use cases ...
