CDs and DVDs not mounting automatically

CDs and DVDs are not mounting automatically. Tested with two CD-ROMs: ThinkPad T440p's built-in one and an Plextor USB one. Tested on my ThinkPad T440p. GNOME Disks is reporting "No media" on all CDs and DVDs. If I mount a CD during boot-up, it'll detect the disk fine. If I try to unmount and mount again, it will not detect the disk. The disk mounting works on an Arch Linux PC with an internal Lite-On DVD-ROM and the external Plextor.
