Artist names aren't shown on compilation albums.
This is an example of compilation "ISACCA" on Cider:

and how it looks in Apple Music Windows app:

Another example, this one of a compilation added to the library from the local files (also, there's a "Show Complete Album" that appears under albums added to the library from the local files and does nothing when clicked on, possibly another bug):
