thanks for letting me know, ill get on it. So the X3 has the inductive sensor right? is that true for S3 as well? do you know what those offset values may be? |

I've updated the release notes, added what to do near the top above Recent Updates https://github.com/classicrocker883/MRiscoCProUI/releases/tag/2.1.3f-8 How does this sound?:

Looks good. Might be worth adding it to the firmware selector too. You could even have this appear when choosing the X3 firmware. I always assumed it was the same between the X3 and S3 as they use the same sensor, the only real difference is the S3 is direct drive with a tool-head board, but only when someone had both models to compare that we realised the offsets for the ABL are not the same. I'm going to hunt for that video I saw a while ago that shows hot to calculate the probe offsets properly so we can get a definite value to set here. I'll link to it in that post when I find it. |

I think it would be helpful to have instructions on how to set ABL offsets in the release notes/firmware selector.
Several people have mentioned that probing is not right when installing Mriscoc, and most of them had the S3.
I have just found out that the ABL sensor is in a different location on the S3 than the X3 so the default offsets will be incorrect.
Apparently the S3 sensor is 20mm further forward then the X3. You can read more here.
This may also be an issue between other versions of the Aquila or if the user has made other modifications.
