Only tapping on the overall refresh button worked.

What are the steps for reproducing the above issue? I tried turning off the internet and all the uploads moved to the failed state but the thumbnails are not flickering.

Since we are migrating to Kotlin, should I start working on the migration of the uploads section of our app, beginning with the pending uploads? I'm concerned because the pending upload screen was recently created in Java. While I have no issues with Java, I believe that Java code can be more prone to errors if not written with care.

I launched a multi-pictures upload, then somehow had a bad Internet connection without realizing it.
Most often upon getting a better connection the problem disappears, but sometimes (rarely) this happens.
So it is difficult to reproduce.

You are very welcome to convert what you want to Kotlin. :-)
We still gladly accept Java contributions, though Kotlin is preferred.

Thanks, I'll create an issue for migration :)
