Computer Modern Web Fonts

The Computer Modern Font Family (the default LaTeX font), delivered on the web for compdemocracy resources.

Usage

Link this stylesheet: https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/compdemocracy/cm-web-fonts@latest/fonts.css in your html <head>.

License

The font is licensed under the SIL Open Font License. The license gives you permission to use them online and redistribute/modify/study them so long as you keep the resulting fonts under the Open Font License. We are not lawyers and can't give legal advice, so make sure to read the official OFL FAQs.

Fonts

The folowing font families are included (with bold and italics):

  • 'Computer Modern Bright'
  • 'Computer Modern Concrete'
  • 'Computer Modern Sans'
  • 'Computer Modern Serif'
  • 'Computer Modern Typewriter'

Delivery

Files are served via jsDelivr, an free, open-source CDN supported by companies like CloudFlare. jsDelivr serves ~72 billion requests/month and is generally considered a reliable CDN utility; however, there's no such thing as a free lunch and we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Use it at your own risk.

Repo forked from @aaaakshat, cm-unicode web fonts compiled by Christian Perfect from the Computer Modern Unicode fonts created by Andrey V. Panov. The original Computer Modern fonts were created by Donald Knuth et al.
