Job Offer Recommended Template

We believe transparency and being upfront is crucial when laying the foundation for a fruitful collaboration. Since this is something we all want, our experience has shown that providing the details below is a good first step in that direction.

So please regard these points as the minimum required for a good job post in the community. Details besides the ones listed are more than welcome.

Descriptive Position Title

Note: Titles are used by developers to filter job offers based on their preferences.

Include:

  • Company / Employer
  • Seniority
  • Primary Technologies
  • Min hours required
  • Rate / Salary

Example: Comrade - Senior .Net, Angular Developer - 80h/m - 20EUR net/h

Project

Note: People love devoting their efforts and imagination to exciting, meaningful projects.

Guidelines:

  • Who, Where, When?
  • What is exciting about your project?
  • Leave relevant URLs (website, github, blog articles...)

Team

Note: The team we are going to work in is often a deciding factor when choosing an opportunity. Describe in short the team dynamics.

Guidelines:

  • Is the spot in an established team with history or a brand new one?
  • Are there team members with exceptional knowledge and skills worth mentioning?
  • Who are the team leads?
  • What is the daily routine of the team like?

Tech profile required

Use this section to list all the tech requirements that the candidate should have to be comfortable in his/hers new role.

Guidelines:

  • Years of experience in respective techs and frameworks
  • Tools used
  • Do you need some examples of relevant previous experience?<
  • How would you determine the candidate’s qualifications (test, sample task, etc...)<
  • Which foreign languages are required?

How will/does the team execute when it comes to software development?
