What is the idea?

Following requests by @baszalmstra and @wolfv, I've sent requests to npmjs to get the https://www.npmjs.com/org/conda org for use of the conda OSS project.

Why is this needed?

I have already done this a fee days ago.. And I got a reply that it will likely take several months.

I was wondering if it makes more sense to apply for using the conda trademark instead? If I understood correctly that is an expedited process.
