It would be great if we have an configuration option to hide the context menu

Do you like to hide it when the tab is already pinned or always?

Well, I could agree on the former, because there's no need to "re-configure" an already pinned tab.

But I honestly don't like the latter; without the context menu the user needs to:

  • manually copy the URL
  • click on FF "hamburger" menu
  • click on "Extensions and Themes"
  • click on AutoPinTab extension
  • click on "Options" tab
  • paste the new URL
  • click on Save

all of these steps just to add a new URL...? 🤔

Thank you for your immediate response. I agree it will be hard to add without a context menu. But personally, I like to see fewer items in the context menu. I will not add the new website every day. Mainly I update the list once in a while and leave it there. So I can still argue that if there is a checkbox to configure this, I can choose to show or hide based on my preference. The default option could be the 'Show in context menu'. Thank you once again for your consideration.

(At-least the context menu in the tab header.)
