There are a bunch of entries that are old and have been replaced by new functionality in R's base packages (eg, read.csv() accepting https urls) and by newer packages.

When they're retired, I'll link to this issue so they're easier to resurrect if I'm wrong and someone corrects me. And I don't pretend to be an expert with all internet practices in all of R's communities, so anyone should feel free to correct me.
