What happened?

I was trying to setup conditions and events following https://github.com/crossplane-contrib/function-kcl/blob/main/examples/default/events/composition.yaml but got following warnings on the composite resource

  Warning  ComposeResources      4s (x4 over 5s)  defined/compositeresourcedefinition.apiextensions.crossplane.io  cannot compose resources: pipeline step "xxxxxx" returned a fatal result: cannot process xr and state with the pipeline output in *v1.RunFunctionResponse: invalid kind "Events" for apiVersion "meta.krm.kcl.dev/v1alpha1" - must be CompositeConnectionDetails or ExtraResources

How can we reproduce it?

Using https://github.com/crossplane-contrib/function-kcl/blob/main/examples/default/events/composition.yaml

What environment did it happen in?

Function version: v0.11.0
Crossplane: v1.18.2
