Hey,
thanks to Stepan of specter- during my issues with mynode's drive, formatting drive etc- , I managed to set up a pruned version of Bitcoin core with specter desktop (with my saved backup wallet files).
Now that mynode is working smoothly again, I am not sure whether to go back to mynode's specter or to have my pruned Bitcoin core fully synced (little more GB-space nessary for that on my laptop?).
Stephan and Ben both said that is definitely better to have a fully synced pruned Bitcoin Core?!
But I dont know anything about command lines.
Stepan said: "I think if you run bitcoin core with -reindex flag it will resync. I don't know how to do it from the gui. if you resync with pruning on you can keep it as low as 10 GB. If you want full archiving node it will take ~350 GB. I don't know how to do it from the gui, it's a command line argument..".
I and many other non-technical users /noobs would really appreciate an easy to follow step by step tutorial or guide on how to fully sync the pruned version, as it takes little additional space. The command lines is the problem.
Thanks.
