One server, multiple schedulers.

Hi guys,

I would like to know if its possible to have Dagu server installed in one server (like an main dagu server) and in each of my vm's have only the schedulers?

It's important to have a centralize web ui with all machines.

Hi, thanks for the question! :)

As of now, you need to start a dagu server for each instance (scheduler + admin.yaml + individual $DAGU_HOME). However, I think it would be easy to add functionality to the dagu server to manage multiple instances. This is because dagu server has a REST API endpoint.

For example, I believe the following configuration items could be added to admin configuration:

servers:
  - hostA
  - hostB

This way, you can start a dagu server on each instance and centrally manage it via the web UI of the central host. We were going to add that functionality, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
