Feature request: continuous text selection between pages

This is a feature request, that may be impossible to implement or better opened in the main pdf-tools repo. As the title says, with image-roll it would be great to be able to select text continuously between pages for highlighting and annotation.

Thanks for the request. This would probably be nice indeed, but I think it would be quite hard to implement (at least via mouse dragging). On the other hand, it is probably fairly easy to add to M-x pdf-annot-keyboard-annotate that is available in the production branch (see here). But unfortunately, at the moment, I lack resources to work on it. Anyway, any enthusiasts can easily hack on it.
