Releases: dannagle/PacketSender
Fixing the Linux Build
Windows and Mac users should continue to use 4.4. Version 4.4.1 fixes a build problem in Linux.
IPv6 Reduction
The combined IPv6/IPv4 engine that Qt now uses has shown to be very unreliable for Packet Sender's IPv4's persistent connections. Packet Sender's IPv6 bindings have been reduced until a better solution can be found.

- Menu system
Persistent Connections and UI update 2
This pre-release fixes some of the problems found while testing the new split-window version of the Packet Sender UI.
- Search now searches saved packets only
- Search now searches ports and IP addresses
- About menu has been cleaned up
- Fixed import UI quirk
Next release should be a full formal release
Persistent Connections and UI update
- Packet Sender has abandoned the tabbed interface for a more modern draggable splitter. The packets and traffic log can now be viewed at the same time.
- Packet Sender finally has support for persistent connections! This feature is experimental, which is why this release is alpha-only (and just the portable version).
- Settings and About are moved to menu items.
- Some under-the-hood updates. Traffic log is a little faster. Packet Sender can now consume more bytes per request.
Now with Portable Support!
- Just download the pre-staged zipped version, and you are good to go! Packet Sender looks in its run-time directory for packets.ini and ps_settings.ini before looking in default.
- Read contents of a file from the command line to send.
- Save traffic log (tab-delineated).
