Throttle/Debounce

Hi all, apologies if this is a stupid question but I am just wondering if I need to be conscious of throttling/debouncing when using Lenis? I am just doing something simple at the moment,

lenis.on('scroll', ({direction}) => {
  if(direction === 1){
    //Hide header
  } else {
    //Show header
  }
})

Before using smooth scroll I would do something like:

window.addEventListener('resize', utilities.debounce(this.resize, 10));
window.addEventListener('scroll', utilities.throttle(this.scroll, 100));
