FREQ, I guess.

I'd like to at the very least retain comments from a config file when read/imported so they aren't lost on #write. Secondarily, the ability add comments would be nice.

And being able to configure comment handling behaviour (such as whether line interpretation stops when a line-comment introducer is encountered, or if line comments can only be preceded by whitespace) would also be nice.

Not that I won't consider implementing this... but just at first glance it feels like a solution to this would be very 'hackish'. Any suggestions/code will certainly be considered... just might take some time, and serious refactoring to properly implement it.
