The error message is: Failed to open virtual machine.

The identical source runs correctly when using VIX 1.10.

Which version of VMWareTasks? Also check VIX 1.11, everything should work.

Would appreciate support for VIX 1.12, I haven't looked at what changed and doubt that I'll get to it quickly. However I am happy to review PRs.

This is a wide open gap for VMware as they make it difficult to get started quickly. Too bad this isn't working :(
