Occasionally we may want to make bulk edits to tags at a tag level, rather than having to retag every individual puzzle with that tag. For example:

  • We may want to rename a tag. This came up a few times in GPH where we wanted to cluster a few puzzles together under a common tag since we knew they were part of the same group, but we didn't have a full sense of the overall "theme" of the group. It would have been nice to be able to rename the tag to something more intuitive as that theme became clear.
  • We may want to delete/hide a tag that's no longer useful. Maybe we were recording something we thought would be relevant and then realized it wasn't relevant to puzzle solving and don't want it to be a distraction going forward.
