I'm new to ODQA and I'm trying to use Elastic as my document store. My code is

from haystack.document_store.elasticsearch import ElasticsearchDocumentStore
document_store = ElasticsearchDocumentStore(host = 'localhost', username = '', password = '',index='squad_docs')

I'm trying to connect and I get an error in python

ConnectionError: ConnectionError(('Connection aborted.', RemoteDisconnected('Remote end closed connection without response'))) caused by: ProtocolError(('Connection aborted.', RemoteDisconnected('Remote end closed connection without response')))

In terminal I get an error

SecurityNetty4HttpServerTransport received plaintext http traffic on an https channel, closing connection Netty4HttpChannel{localAddress=/[0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1]:9200, remoteAddress=/[0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1]:61191}

Any help would be appreciated,

Hi @praveensonu my best guess would be that the elasticsearch is starting slowly on your machine and the startup process of elasticsearch is not finished once Haystack tries to connect to it. Could that be? Could you maybe wait a bit longer after starting elasticsearch before you continue? Are you running the code from the tutorial? If so, please have a look at the following similar issue: #789

Hi @julian-risch , I found the solution. Its not because of the slow start of Elastic, If I use https port, its working fine. Also I found how to disable it. In elasticsearch.yml of config folder, I disable security xpack.security.enabled: false xpack.security.enrollment.enabled: false. It is now working well. thanks

this is not solution bro, bro stop ssl it means bro use http :v
Issue i think dns https proxy bad for ssl when bro use dns fake
