i have seen ppl stumbling upon not finding the log on desktop several times. also devs pointing users to the wrong place :)

on Android/iOS, "View Log" is meanwhile even one of the first items at "Settings / Advanced".

would be cool to have it on desktop there as well additionally.
opening the current log would do.

the current place "View / Developer" is a bit hidden, also "Developer" is not really fitting for user who wants to send us a log. main issue, however, is that it is too different from Android/iOS.

would be cool to have that in sync on all platforms, that also targets deltachat/interface#49

Yeah, I think we have the same issue with "Language".

Off-topic On a side note, I think all the settings need to be re-thought. For example, we have proxy settings, but for some reason they're nowhere to be found in the "Connectivity" section

this is fine meanwhile - android dropped the in-app "Language settings" at deltachat/deltachat-android#3241 - and iOS never had it
