OSX devcontainer mounts not working

Im trying to get a local folder mounted in my devcontainer, im still using vscode but would like to move to devcontainer cli instead.

I used

    "mounts": [
        "source=/Users/alex/Desktop/mycustommountfolder/user_data,target=/insidecontainer/user_data,type=bind"
    ],

To not avail tried several approaches suggesting i need to remove the cache.
How can the mounts be fixed and working? im running on OSX

Something so "easy" should just work? I clearly do something wrong?

I think i resolved it in the end sorry did not see this notice.

Im not mounthing the who project path just individual paths instad
