Problem with recording from VCV Rack

@michaelpalumbo HI Michael, Since yesterday I have been having problems recording my score. I can hear all layers of sound but when I record it, it only records the layer of the sample layer sound and without much distortion, just the basic from the player module.
I tried many different things and nothing seems to work.
I will keep on trying and keep you posted

Hi @lorenaSalome

1. Can you confirm that the same cable(s) patched to channels 1 and 2 on the audio out module are also patched to the L and R inputs of the record module?

2. After doing step 1, another thing you can try is right-clicking the record module and select 'Initialize'. this will reset the module as if you had just added it to your rack. It seems this has been necessary whenever a rack patch with a record module comes from another person (I think it may have something to do with different paths on machines). important: after initalizing, you need to repeat the steps to configure the module so that it doesn't save multiple recording files (right click, and deselect the 'Append 001.wav, etc' option, then right click again to ensure this is off.

@michaelpalumbo I had to get back the file from an old commit :)

1. I checked that same cables were plugged in and still the same. Headphones and recording inputs are connected to same output coming from the mixer
2. tried it too. I think the problem is my computer. It is too much for it and the it is saturating with all the modules and that.
   I have been trying to generate that saturation with modules, not there yet
