Getting the following error, i downloaded 4.38.0 but still getting the same error

For you first screenshot, do you have an IDE with Docker integration running, or anything that could try to talk to Docker? We know that this error could be triggered if you have for instance VS Code running while you try to install / upgrade.

IDEs are closed, no other program is running and when i try to do that i get the error

Could you double-check with the activity monitor if there are any 'docker' process running? If so, could you try to kill them and retry.

I updated Docker desktop on MacOS Sequoia(M2 Max) and it runs, but all containers are starting extremely slow

Could you double-check with the activity monitor if there are any 'docker' process running? If so, could you try to kill them and retry.

I was able to upgrade this way.

Nothing is running in my case and i'm unable to install it either

Were you able to find some solution? I uninstalled docker, since I wanted to try podman which did not happened as what I had expected. Now that I am trying to install docker desktop again., I am unable to get it installed it properly on M1.

I just downgraded to 4.37.1 (178610)
