Unable to select a range of points or publish

Hello, I am using ROS Noetic on Ubuntu 20.04. The package was built successfully without any major errors and is also showing up as a plugin in Rviz. However, I am not able to select a range of points, and even if I select only one point, nothing is being published to a ROS topic.

When I select one point, nothing happens. When I try to drag the mouse to select multiple points, the Publish point plugin becomes inactive and the 'Interact' plugin becomes active again.

The keyboard shortcuts are also not working.

Hi, I have not tested on Noetic, only up to Melodic.
When I get a chance I will try on Noetic and see if I can identify the problem. Thank you for submitting the issue.
