Download Station (client for Synology NAS) uses login credentials for Synology NAS to allow remote management of Download Station tasks. To do so it stores login, password and url in the chrome synced storage on the browser. If chrome synced is enabled this data is susceptible to be synchronized with Google's server and attached clients following their own policy policies. Note that if login is done over Http the credentials can transit unencrypted over local network.
Download Station does not collect, store or transmit any other personal information, or use your credentials except login/logout purposes.
