Suggest Feature Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

As members, contributors, and leaders of Suggest Feature, we pledge to foster a harassment-free community for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, sexual identity, or orientation.

We are committed to contributing to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy environment.

Our Standards

Positive behaviors that enhance our community include:

  • Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward others
  • Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences
  • Providing and graciously accepting constructive feedback
  • Acknowledging mistakes and learning from them
  • Prioritizing the collective success of the community

Unacceptable behaviors include:

  • Using sexualized language, imagery, or making sexual advances
  • Trolling, derogatory comments, or personal/political attacks
  • Harassment, public or private
  • Sharing others' private information without explicit permission
  • Any other behavior deemed inappropriate in a professional environment

Enforcement Responsibilities

Our community leaders are responsible for defining and enforcing acceptable behavior and will take fair corrective action in response to any inappropriate conduct. Leaders have the right to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that don't align with this Code of Conduct.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies across all community spaces and extends to any public representation of Suggest Feature, such as using an official email, social media account, or representing the community at events.

Enforcement

Instances of abusive or otherwise unacceptable behavior can be reported to the Suggest Feature team at [email protected]. All reports will be reviewed promptly, with confidentiality maintained.

Enforcement Guidelines

Community leaders will follow these guidelines for any violations:

1. Correction

Impact: Inappropriate language or behavior that's unprofessional.

Consequence: A private, written warning with an explanation and a potential request for a public apology.

2. Warning

Impact: A violation via a single or series of actions.

Consequence: A warning with specified consequences for continued behavior, including avoiding interactions with the affected parties and those enforcing the Code of Conduct. Further violations may lead to a temporary or permanent ban.

3. Temporary Ban

Impact: Serious violations or sustained inappropriate behavior.

Consequence: A temporary ban from community interactions. Violating the terms during this period may result in a permanent ban.

4. Permanent Ban

Impact: Repeated violations, harassment, or aggression toward individuals or groups.

Consequence: A permanent ban from all community interactions.
