Vehicle E/E architectures differ very much from each other. There may be one or multiple devices in the vehicle suitable for the installation of certain components.
One architecture may install all the SDV components on some kind of "high-performance compute module".
Other architecture may run the cloud connector and self-update components on a "connectivity" device, whereas all other components (eg databroker, central VUM etc.) are localted on a main device.
As we don't know each and every architecture beforehand, we should at least have one example with a distributed architecture.
