add a password reset via email

currently if I forget my login to a BASIL instance it's suggested to

"Forgot username or password? Please contact your BASIL admin."

to lower the maintenance burden I would highly appreciate if there is a functionality for users to reset the password via email..

Hi,
thanks for filing this issue. It is definitely something needed.
I'm not sure about the right solution.
I would like to setup a lightweight mail client without the needs for the user to configure the container with lots of email server details.
Do you have any suggestion?

I'll add a section for admin to edit tool configurations.
One of the configuration will be the email server/account used to send notifications and reset password.
This way we don't have to take the ownership of configuring a web server inside BASIL that is out of our scope.
The same time we can solve this major issue.
