redis force_upgrade doesn't work when moved from source to package installation

I have redis installed with custom-redis cookbook with attributes:

redis['install_from_source'] = true
redis['version'] = '2.4.6'

After that I decided to upgrade redis and change attributes to:

redis['install_from_source'] = false
redis['version'] = '3.2.0'
redis['force_upgrade'] = true

I upload recipes and aplly via dashboard but version remain unchanged and redis binaries in /usr/local/bin are old
