Hey, yes it is in works. we are slowly moving towards a single Dockerfile. Regarding porting Ente to apps like UmbrelOS/CasaOS, currently Ente is not supposed to go on such platforms because of the distributed web apps. It is genuinely a bit more work in that part. I have previously tried porting ente to yunohost, but I failed for the same. |

The current self-hosting process for Ente Photos poses several challenges for users, including complicated setup procedures, lack of intuitive guidance, and potential technical difficulties.
The existing CLI tool is not user-friendly for non-technical users who are utilizing solutions like UmbrelOS or CasaOS.
I have submitted a PR to add Ente Photos to UmbrelOS app store, but it is currently not merged since it is hard for non-technical users to follow the whole setup process. We are having a discussion to make it straightforward for all users.
Is there any plan to enhance the current process to allow users to update their subscription to increase account storage limits (other than the CLI) and fully disable OTT for self-hosters via Dockerfile?
