I saw in the dependencies of python3-matplotlib that python3-tk is included. Can you check if installing python3-matplotlib is enough to access the tk layer?

While it is enough for python 2, I can't be sure in python 3 because the alsa libs (python3-alsaaudio) also seem not to exist for python 3 in the repos.
Something else I noticed in the meanwhile is a malfunction in supersid_plot.py. While the matplotlib frame is loaded, no graph is formed. But I am not sure if this has anything to do with the current issue.
