Hello,

I've been playing with ChromeiQL and it's awesome. We used to include graphiql as part of our app and now we can avoid doing that.

  1. Is it possible to publish this for Firefox as well?
The new versions of Firefox use the same extension format as Chrome (AFAIK).

  2. Are there any plans to publish this as Firefox?

Thanks,

I don't have any immediate plans to publish on Firefox since I don't use it personally anymore. That means I won't be able to pay as much attention to the Firefox version day in day out.

That said, I don't see any reason to not publish on Firefox especially given that they both support an almost identical extension system (as well as Opera and even Edge).

I will give it a quick shot, and see what that port entails. I would also appreciate any pull requests on this matter if anyone has more experience with Firefox extensions.

Thanks and good luck with the experiment. I hope it works well.
I don't have any experience with web extensions myself unfortunately.

I write code from time to time and now we are working on a graphql api. I use Firefox because I believe Mozilla is doing a great job at promoting privacy and a free internet. I interchange Chrome and Firefox depending on what tasks I have to do, but prefer Firefox, especially since the latest changes have improved memory consumption a lot.

A lot of ramble though. What I want to say is that event with 12 GB of memory, having two browsers, and IDE and a java app started is too much :). It would be great to be able to have just one browser open.

I hope the extension is easy to write. I can help you test it out if you have something done. Regards.
