This is a template to render a volume from DICOM files using Ray Casting in VTK. The code uses vtkGPUVolumeRayCastMapper for the volume. Also, the scalar opacity, gradient and 1D transfer function. Files are read using vtkDICOMImageReader copied to a vtkImageData.
